vollie FUN-RAISE FOR ASTHMA!

The HBF Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma is the largest fundraising event for the Asthma Foundation of WA. By fundraising for the Foundation, your efforts and contributions go directly towards providing support and education services to those affected by asthma.

Asthma is a serious disease that rates as a priority for ambulances and is responsible for one death every day in Australia. Your fundraising efforts can drastically change the impact asthma has on our community.

Registrations are open. This year, you will have a unique and online sponsor webpage in which your fundraising efforts will contribute towards making a real difference.

Visit www.freewaybikehike.com.au and click on Create your fundraising page. You will set your own target and create a personalised page in which your friends and family can sponsor your ride. This very simple process will take 5 minutes of your time and by fundraising you are helping those living with asthma.

Congratulations to Glenn Swannell who is currently the top fundraiser for the HBF Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma…Read more...

SAFE RIDING IN GROUPS

Group riding can be fun and rewarding but becomes dangerous when there is little or no communication between cyclists. Especially when those in the group are inexperienced and/or riding beyond their ability. Good, clear communication which involves pointing or calling out approaching hazards and riding within the limit of your experience and physical ability lead’s to greater enjoyment and a safer environment for all members of the group.
