CRACKING JOB BY CRACK CYCLING!
CEO David Johnson says “our top fundraising dollars are attributed to this special force that are all managing to raise well needed funds for the Asthma Foundation of WA. What people haven’t realized is that every dollar raised goes directly to the Foundation and makes the biggest difference to asthma sufferers.” CRACK stands for Catering, Riding, Angling, Camping and Karaoke; and the cycling component of this active group are raising well needed funds for the Asthma Foundation of WA. These cracking cyclists are setting us all an example as the money they are raising goes directly to the Foundation, and provides the resources Asthma Foundation of WA needs to deliver asthma information and services to the community. EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION WINNER READY TO RIDE! Congratulations to Clive Cass who was this year’s winner of the early bird registration Prize! This fantastic trip saw Clive meet Cadel Evans and Stuart O’Grady and he received theirs and numerous other international cyclists’ autographs! “We were able to enjoy the race event on Saturday which was so exciting with an extremely close finish between the breakaway group and the peloton. Being at the race was a most memorable weekend.” Clive was given the opportunity to ride the course after the race finished but unfortunately he didn’t pack his bike! “Next year I will definitely head back and take my bike so I can cycle part of the stage each day!” Clive is fundraising for the Asthma Foundation of WA and is directly making a difference to the more then 225,000 Western Australians living with Asthma. For example, indicate early that you are turning so other riders can give you room to do so safely."
